Nicholas Clifford is a filmmaker who
has a passion for telling creative and dynamic stories.
Nick’s short film ‘Kitchen Sink Drama’ was a finalist at Tropfest 2012 and has since moved on to the international festival circuit screening at HollyShorts, New York City International Film Festival and the Palm Springs International ShortFest Online competition among others around the world.
Nick’s latest short ‘We’ve All Been There’ took out the top prize at Tropfest 2013 with the uplifting story capturing the hearts of audiences around Australia. Further to this, and in a testament to Clifford’s love to work with actors, both films have received the Best Actress Award from the prestigious festival.
A 2009 graduate of Directing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, Nick used his time in Sydney to direct a host of productions, including standout short film “Nicky Two Tone” whilst he also regularly adapts his talents to multiple genres and formats and takes them around the globe, most notably on the documentary series “The Beijing Hustle” and more recently advertising campaigns for well known brands Caltex, Cadbury and RMIT University.
